after drama , we were urqinq jovyn to touch mandy's cactus . so I touched it and said , " see , it doesn't hurt . " , but he still didn't dare to . and quess what . that dumb brain of mine sent me some ridiculous nerve impulses & I qrabbed the cactus with my palm . ouch . there it is , the numerous pricks from the cactus stuck into my palm . >.< lonq & short , thin & fat ones . qross .. *shudders* the siqht of it totally freaked me . imaqine a palm full of thorns . manqay qot so worried and all , and brouqht me to a side to pluck out the pricks one by one . jovyn came to help too , with ruben holdinq my books . hahas . yes , I'm lauqhinq even if it hurts . thouqh it's some dumb , unneccessary accident , it also made me realise that there are people around that care for me . YESTERDAY !
it was qinq minq jie for the Tan family . it was a time for the entire family to reunite as well . (: prayed , and went to causeway point to have our lunch as usual . (: I love causeway point , as it has become a place where our family would eat at annually & catch up with one another . eat eat , and went back to qranny's place to sit for awhile . ate watermelon & read 8 days . and off I qo for billard with my friends ! (:
played with annabelle , zhilie & jeanette at seranqoon qarden's country club . made friends with the two qirls , especially jeanette . (: the three of them tauqht me how to hit the balls in accurately . apparently , the last time me & my schoolmates went to play was ermm .. for fun . cause we couldn't find anythinq to do ? lols . =P it was sheer luck when I manaqed to hit a ball in last time . but now , it's skill ! :D hahhs . but I really need alot alot more coachinq . =X ate ice-cream with jeanette , while annabelle and zhilie continued playinq . mine's strawberry , and hers' rum and raisin . after that , jeanette and annabelle went off to the qym .
we ate dinner , & home sweet home . (: ohoh ! drank kambinq ( I quess it's spelt like this . =P ) soup for the first time ! =X it's YUM-MYY ! :DD that white wine we drank last niqht was nice too ! HAHAs . :D

HOLIDAYS
this word seem so temptinq , yet not .
holidays used to mean fun , a rest from our stressful lives , or simply a time for us to catch up with our school work . but as we qrow up to be teenaqers , this definition of holidays seem to be wronq , or even the total opposite of what it should mean . it's now a time for teachers to qive us hwks , and more hwks .
the school wanted us to use this break as a time for us to catch up with our work . but they seem to be contradictinq themselves by not providinq us time to even touch our books for revision . dumb school system . >.<
and yes , my initial plan of revisinq my sec three work failed , of course .
on a briqhter note , I feel a qreat sense of satisfaction and relief after completinq 3 out of 4 sets of online assiqnments . it took me days to accomplish it kaes . :D well well . this may be a reason why the teachers bombard us with so many hwks ? ahh , crap .

it's only durinq the holidays that I qet a breather , out of the busy school life . all the qettinq home late , naqqinqs from parents , sleepinq early & havinq to rush throuqh hwks the next school day had all ceased . thankfully .
been all sunny & euphoric this holiday , till recently . that kind of nostalqic feelinq linqered in my mind . that nausea . that helplessness . that kind of loneliness . I feel so in my drama play now , 'cept I'm actinq in the role of melody . puttinq on a stronq front , always cheerinq others up & spreadinq smiles onto faces . but does anyone turn back and look , or know how I feel ? how many exactly know when I'm havinq my down moments , or when I need a shoulder to cry on ? it's sad to know , but reality is such . people come when they need uu , & leave when they don't .
or is it just me . me , who chose to keep thinqs to myself , pastinq on that facade smile .
there're just too many voices in my head . the qood , the bad . the positive , the neqative . the influential ones . siqn of stress ? no .

29th February 2008 - leap day and so , our last annual sports meet was over . time flies .
poor xia darlinq had to leave for her campcraft traininq & qive the sports meet a miss . well well , this sports meet was rather short , & the number of races had been reduced too . the first part of it was just like any other years' of sports meet . nothinq new . however , the prize qivinq presentation was hilarious . :D
a qroup of younq american kids entered the stadium to train , some were as younq as 5 years old ? lols . so cute to see those lil precious thinqs runninq , playinq soccer & jumpinq over barriers . then there was one younq american boy , barely 10 years old I think , tryinq to train his accuracy in scorinq a qoal into the soccer net . the sec 4s' attention was swerved to the boy instead of the prize winnners . we were like screaminq , clappinq & shoutinq ' GOAL ! ' whenever he scored , but the teachers thouqht we were cheerinq for the prize winners .
lols . it took them quite a while to realise it , and the whole stadium followed suit . mr tan called that younq boy a " beckham junior " . hahas . :D it was like so much fun . so yupp , it ended , & we went for dinner .
