learnt many thinqs from PAL 4 camp :- I believe , therefore I am .
- if uu always do what uu did , uu would always qet what uu qot .
- a distraction will be a distraction , if uu let it be a distraction .
- we musn't box ourselves up in our own element , instead , we should open ourselves into the other elments as well .
- focusinq into our fears would jeopardise thinqs , but if we focus out , we would view thinqs more positively , in another perspective .
- view urself neqatively , and uu'll be .
- feedback is simply information . the choice is urs to do anythinq about it .
- everyone have responsibilities , it's just how uu view it . is it a burden , or just a task ? small thinqs like makinq choices in life , is too a responsibility . ur responsibility .
- do not push responsibilities to others .
- there'll be miracles , when I believe .

PAL 4 was totally AWESOME ! :D[ I didn't find one bit of it borinq lahhs , ruben . hahas . =P ]
we really bonded alot throuqh these few days .
I can see some emotional faces when we were lockinq our carribeans ?!? toqether on the last day .
thankks mr chua and jacq !
the token was really meaninqful ! I never expected such a small and common thinq to mean so much . I was like qoinq to burst into tears when we interlocked lahhs ! =X
so , on the second and third day with jacq around , thinqs qot more like a camp . felt more involved . =]
second day :
we qrew our finqers in seconds ! it's so amazinq !!
everyone didn't quite believe it at first , but when we succeeded , we were like , " HURR ?!? "
HAHA . =]
we qot to know more about our personalities and understand who we truly are .
I"m KINESTHETIC , and I belonq more to the WIND element .
KINESTHETIC : we feel comfortable when we touch ! lols . :D
WIND : we analyse before shootinq words that come to our mind , calm , serious when completinq tasks . :D
then all of us qave feedback to one another .
the feedback for me were nice . :D
they said I"m QUIET , NEED TO BE MORE OUTSPOKEN , NICE , PLEASANT , SWEET , KIND , FRIENDLY , LOVABLE , HELPFUL , GENTLE , PRETTY !

we too , watched parts of ratatouille .

third day :
we watched parts of chicken little , and talked about what do we fear about . eq . in our ccas .
however , if uu focus out , uu'll realise that it wasn't that difficult and fearful at all ! but if uu keep concentratinq on ur fear , uu'll not only fail but also not beinq able to accomplish anythinq !
then today , we concentrated on buildinq our very ownn PAL 4 . as a team .
first , we played moo-moo & qer-qer .
hahas . actually , it's a number qame . so we were each qiven a number , and we were supposed to throw the toys either in a ascendinq or/and descendinq order . for both ascendinq and ascendinq & descendinq qames , we aimed to break a record of completinq it in 30 seconds . and throuqh our teamwork , and non-dyinq perserverance , WE DID IT !! :DD
jacq kept questioninq if we could do it , and all of us were like shoutinq , " YES ! "
felt so happy & hyper , proud and everythinq to be in PAL 4 , playinq this qame with this qreat bunch of leaders . they're so WHOO ! :D
we even aqreed to qo on till we qet 30 seconds , even if it means skippinq lunch .
see what I mean ? HAHH . =]
durinq de-brief , jacq said we were very perserverinq , and would hanq on despite others' doubts , and the many failures we had . =]]
then we qot out OWN lunch . which means , we were qiven teh money , and decide on ourselves how're we qoinq to order lunch for PAL 4 . order 4 pizzas , plus three 1.5 litre drinks . while the remaininq money qoes to our teabreak , which some only ate after the camp ! lols . we were just playinq & screaminq till we forqot about our stomachs .
after that , we played the traffic jan qame and rope turninq qame .
shan't elaborate , but it was just .. WHEE-HOO . FUN ! :D
we broke jacq's traininq records for both qames ! :DD
rope-turninq was quite scary actually , but after few tries , hey ! it turned out simple and thrillinq ! make uu want to try aqain & aqain . =]

okaes . had first day of pal camp . it was rather alriqht , more interstinq than what I thouqht . ^^ made new friends .
[ definitely ] had a fun time lauqhinq ! hahas . :D
first , we had some warm-up exercises .
then , we played a qame that required us to have physical contact with one another . like , the trainer would say , " elbow to knee " . then any two from the qroup must " connect " one's elbow with the other's knee . as it qoes on , the challenqe qot harder and all of us were forminq real weird sculptures .
lols . mr chua even took his camera out and snap ! urqh .
hmms .. what's next .
oh ! we had to do tabloids , then mimes
[ cool ! reminds me of joshua . lols ] , and finally , skits . it was very drama . suits us , but not for the other performinq arts qroups I suppose . hahas . =/

yet so hard to be expressed and explained .
to me , love is a qift from heaven that
cannot be defined but can only be felt .
so , what is love to uu ?
recently , I've seen many cases whereby
people self-define love .
some think rejection in love is somethinq
qrave . instead of treatinq it as a lesson ,
they turned love , which is such a beautiful
thinq into hatred . but , think aqain . does
it really make uu feel happy ?
some people have different perspectives of
love . some feel that love is somethinq that
we have to put effort into , and are
willinq to sacrifice anythinq to salvaqe a
problem . yet , some feel that love is just
part of everyone's life , and found themselves
able to live on with or without love .
often in such cases , conflicts beqan to occur .
many didn't realise that they're wastinq their
youth off .
so , to the people around me . think twice
and try to salvaqe any problem , no matter how
minute it is . cause uu'll never know if it
contributes to the loopholes of ur relationship .

I wonder why do people have to be so sensitive about tiny issues . issues and actions that people won't even notice nor brood over it . some thinqs are just so simple , yet people had to look in depth about it and misunderstood one another . as the misunderstandinq accumulates , the relationship between one another qets worse . why ? just because of a puny move .
I thouqht adults wouldn't have childish mindsets . however , most of the time it turned out that children can be more mature in terms of their thinkinqs compared to the adults . why ? is it the environment's fault ? or people qrow up to become pessimists ?
why must people beat about a bush just to confess a simple point ? is pride stoppinq us ? or are we afraid of failure and disappointment ? many of us did not realise that we're just wastinq our youth away . tick tock . tick tock .

on the 6th nov , 2e1 '06 had a class bbq . yupp . (:the only nice thinq was the sunset and cyclinq part . qees .

hey there ! (:been havinq my work attachment in Zion Bishan Kinderqarten .
tmrw's the last day of work . will miss the kids and friendly people loads ! ):
reflections :
before arrivinq at the kinderqarten , my imaqe of the teachers and principal was - FIERCE .
lols . but after much interaction , I found out that it was the total opposite of what I had expected . the people there were so friendly and nice . the kids too , they weren't as troublesome and a nuisance as I thouqht . the morninq session kids were so cute and heartwarminq . they didn't treat me as a stranqer and left me alone in a corner . instead , they would come runninq to me , invitinq me to play with them and stuffs . some of them even wanted me to visit their homes ! hahas . imaqine , they reached to the extent of invitinq an intern to their houses ! it totally displayed the closeness between us in just a few days . (: however , the kids in the afternoon session were not as sociable . they wouldn't approach me without a reason . their common reaction was to STARE . =.= I don't know was it because they were shy or what . but they prefer the company of their classmates more . haiis , so of course I prefer the early birds . hahas .
the aunties in the kitchen that helped to cook our meals were not neqlected as well . they wouldn't mind us treatinq the place as our home , and askinq as much servinqs of food as we wanted . ahahahs . I was very sick yesterday , havinq severe cold and sneezinq all the time . often , I would qet hunqry easily when I'm in that condition . the aunties not only did not mind me havinq 2 servinqs of each meal [ hahas . surprisinq ehhs ? ] , they even asked me to eat more . ahahhs . and I recovered alot ! hehes . :D
overall , I liked that place alot alot . except for the afternoon part ! opps . HAHAs . :D
woots . I can simply use this piece of reflections as the one we need to write after the whole workinq process . hehes . :D
ohoh ! and there were several kids in hte kinderqarten that have the same names as my schoolmates ! hahas . like ruben , kai jie , qillian , chen hui linq [ me ! ] , nicholas , wei en , melody , matthew , julia , joshua , and many more . too many to remember ! lols .
